Canned-Food Drive for Interfaith a Great Success

Okay, how would you like to invite a hundred or so people over for dinner? It would be quite an undertaking, wouldn’t it? But by simply putting out your generous donations of canned food for our food drive on the morning of Tuesday, November 9, you were able to feed a meal to well over 100 people. In fact, I think we probably approached 125 meals, easily. We had an absolutely amazing and generous response. The folks at Interfaith sent a nice letter of appreciation, and we’re hoping to do another food drive this spring. The need is great, especially for the elderly in our area. Thank you so much for making this food drive spectacularly successful. I was sure to tell the folks at the food pantry that this came from the neighbors at Blackjack Oak!
