Neighbor News

Okay, I’m feeling like a slacker for sure. The Turners are already putting up their outdoor Christmas lights, and we haven’t even found ours yet! They’re smart to get a jump on it because the weather is supposed to be pretty wet and cold on Thanksgiving Day. Not sure what it’s supposed to do after that.

I talked to Ms. Juanita today, and she said in years past, lots of homes on the circle put out luminaries, and it looked really nice.  An article in The Villager said that Kroger’s and Randall’s would be selling luminaries to benefit Interfaith, so I’ll probably get a few to put out front — even though no one can really drive past our house, we’ll enjoy them back here in the cul-de-sac.  Here’s a photo of luminaries in another neighborhood.

Lots of them on this street!

This will be our first Thanksgiving and Christmas in our new (to us) home in  The Woodlands, and I’m so thankful to be here. What a great place to live!
