Grand-dog Sleep-Over

The grand-dogs spent the night with us last night while our daughter and her husband were busy tail-gating at the A&M game. It was the first time Beaux and Isabelle spent the night with us, and it was all pretty uneventful — until it came time to go to bed, of course. That’s when they all began jockeying for position. It took a while to sort things out before they all settled down.

Isabelle is a tiny eight-pounder, but she handles herself very well around the big dogs, thank you very much. I like to joke that she’s a big dog in a very small package. We’ll have them until late today, so here’s hoping that the situation remains calm. Nothing like having about 200 pounds of canine (collectively) running around the house and yard. I’m just glad it isn’t raining today.
