We Beat Dallas

If you didn’t get a chance to read the Houston Chronicle yesterday, Ken Hoffman had an interesting article about the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion being the second busiest and best-attended amphitheater in the world in 2010. Tickets sold for events at the pavilion numbered 307,489, which was bested only by the Filene Center at Wolf Trap near Washington, D.C. Pretty amazing, isn’t it?

By way of comparison, the amphitheater in Dallas sold a mere 100,162 tickets. If you want to read Hoffman’s article in its entirety, it can probably be accessed online at the chron.com website.
