Thank You, Neighbors

Last night, Jackie brought over a big chunk of fresh-from-the-oven-and-still-hot banana-nut bread. Yum! What a nice surprise. I couldn’t resist sampling it right away, but I left the biggest part of it for breakfast this morning. Thank you, Jackie!

Then, just a little while later, another neighbor delivered a beautiful Christmas CD with twenty Christmas favorites on it. Thank you, neighbor! We’ll be singing some of these same songs when we go caroling on the 17th, so the CD will be a big help to me. Actually, we have so many wonderful voices involved with the caroling project that I think I’m just going to be carrying a flashlight and listening to the sounds of the season. In fact, I can begin doing that today by putting this disk in the CD player. How nice.
