Sculpture Revisited

Well, it’s one of those things that make you think, “Duh! Of course that’s why…” Remember that tall metal pillar of a sculpture with the cut-outs of birds flying? I found a picture of it online at http://www.woodlandsart.com/pictures.htm, and now it makes perfect sense to me, and I can see why the sculptor chose to make cut outs of birds instead of trees. You have to see it at night to fully appreciate it.

According to the website, the sculpture is made of welded stainless steel plate and stands 36 feet tall. The sculptor is Bruce White, which I mentioned before. Very nice. I’d like to get out some night and take a look at it, but I’ll leave the picture-taking to the experts.
