Update from Entergy

Just got an email from our good neighbor, Keith, regarding the Entergy issue, and the news is encouraging. See below.

The guy at Entergy who called me back this morning had some good news in that he indicated a major electrical transmission line connecting Sawmill Road with Sawdust Road will be replaced soon. His description of where this line actually is located was confusing, but I think that it may run right down Acorn Oak Street, and they may have to enter some homeowner’s yards.
Removal of the old line & installation of the new line should take about 2 weeks, he stated. He did not guarantee that such would not cause another short power outage but heck, the final rewards are worth a few hours of no lights! He also indicated that if this does not solve all our problems, they would consider replacing other lines….
So neighbors, be on the lookout for Entergy work crews in our area, and let’s all hope they fix the problem. Thank you, Keith, for keeping us updated!
