One New Restaurant and Bam! More Money in the Kitty

There was an article in “The Villager” the other day about sales tax receipts for the areas in and around The Woodlands. The stats showed that the receipts made a nice jump upward for Shenandoah. And why, you might ask. Well, it all had to do with B.J.”s Brewhouse. It seems that B.J.’s is doing such big business that people are waiting in line to get in, and those who get tired of waiting go to other restaurants nearby. More business, more tax receipts for the town. Interesting. Just goes to show the importance of shopping locally.
