We’re talking about major cities here, not rural areas. You’ll notice that most of these places are in the snow belt — places people are moving away from, rather than moving to. Maybe that’s why they’re so affordable! The last one is an exception. It’s not in the snow belt, and more people are voting with their feet and moving into, rather than away from this place. That alone tells you a lot.
1. Omaha, Nebraska
2. Buffalo, New York
3. Detroit, Michigan (Boy, I’ll bet that one really is affordable!)
4. Indianapolis, Indiana (Must be racing fans)
5. Cincinnatti, Ohio
6. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
7. Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota
8. Cleveland, Ohio
9. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
10. Houston, Texas
Hooray! Texas made the list! And it’s us instead of Dallas!
