Texas Triple-Scent Candle Has Arrived

It came in the mail yesterday, and I have to say that the box did smell good when I opened it.  I just ordered a regular pillar candle, gardenia scented, so it isn’t anything spectacular, but I noticed a couple of differences in this candle right away. For one thing, the ivory color I ordered is a lot darker than I expected, and the candle wax is somewhat softer to the touch. It’s also a little bit irregular in appearance, so it’s apparent that this candle is made by hand and not by a machine. Somehow that’s kind of nice. How many hand-made items do we see nowadays. Precious few.

I’ll give you an update on how the candle smells when I have a chance to burn it — according to their specific instructions.
