Been Thinking About Twitter

Do any of you tweet? I used to. When Twitter first started, I read about it and opened an account. I tweeted a few times and let my friends at work and family in on it. “Hey, open a Twitter account, and we can communicate!” The general response was, “Do what?” Everyone just wanted to stick with email, so there I was, tweeting with no followers. I was ahead of my time I guess, so I gave up. Forget it. This Twitter thing will never fly.

But it did fly, of course, and now zillions of people are tweeting like mad, fomenting revolutions even, and I’m not. To my knowledge, none of my old friends have Twitter accounts to this day. Maybe some of you do. If so, I’d like to hear from you. How’s that working out for you?
