Watch Message – Burglary of Habitations

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has reported two recent incidents of burglary of a habitation, both of which occurred between noon and 3 p.m.  Both homes were entered by forced entry through the back door.  Both homes were unoccupied at the time and no one was harmed. Computers, flat screen TV’s and jewelry were among the items taken.

The first incident occurred Feb. 15, 2011, on Golden Sunset in the Village of Cochran’s Crossing. The second incident was on Monday, March 7, 2011, on Crested Pine Court in the Village of Panther Creek.

A red or maroon small sedan, occupied by a black male was observed at the locations.  If you have any information regarding these crimes, please contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

If you witness any suspicious activity, please notify the Sheriff’s Office immediately.

• Try to observe and report license plate numbers, a description of the vehicle and person.
• To report suspicious activity Call 9-1-1 while the crime is in progress.
• To report suspicious activity or a crime that has already occurred, call 936.442.7797 for Montgomery County.  In Harris County, call 281.376.3472.
