Memories of Elizabeth Taylor

The Hollywood “legend” is gone, etc., etc., blah, blah, blah. I’ve seen most of her movies, I guess, but I think I really became aware of her when I was just a kid, listening my mom talk about how Liz ran off with her best friend’s husband. How nice. Later on, of course, she dumped Eddie Fisher, and took off with yet another married guy, Richard Burton. Nice lady. That’s the sort of stuff I can’t get past, I don’t care how rich and famous and glamorous she was. To me, she was a very flawed character. We need to pay more attention to the decent people in this world and quit fulminating over the Sheens and Lohans, et al. Life is too short.
