6.1 Aftershock Hit Japan This Morning

I just checked the USGS web site and was surprised to see yet another rather large aftershock occurred just about an hour ago, 7:57 a.m., Central Daylight Time. I saw an interview with a seismologist yesterday who stated that these aftershocks could possibly continue for a decade. It would be hard to live with this for ten years. My heart really goes out to the people in Japan.

  1. The earthquake has been heart breaking, our thoughts and prayers are with them. Sometimes it makes you stop and wonder what is really going on in this world. These natural disasters seem to be claiming lives abundantly and with no mercy as time goes on.
