Texas Wildfire: Burn Ban Map and Forest Fire Danger Map, 4/12/11

I’ve got a couple of maps for you this morning while we wait for the latest report from TFS. The first is a Burn Ban map, as of 4/11/11, which shows how much of the state is involved. The second is a Forest Fire Danger map, which was updated today. I’ll have a red-flag warning map up later today. Also, I’m finding it difficult to find up-to-date fire maps. This could be because the fires move so quickly, and some are put out quickly too, so the situation is very dynamic. I’ll keep searching, however. Stay safe.
