Texas Wildfires: How to Thank a Firefighter

The brave, hard-working people who are literally on the front lines, battling wildfires in so many different places in Texas and our surrounding states have been in my thoughts a great deal lately. We all know by now that one of them lost his life Friday battling a fire in Texas, and others have been injured, some seriously. Here’s an easy way for us to post our thanks to them online, and it only takes a minute. Go this page on the Wildland Firefighter Foundation web site. There is a pull-down menu there for you to select your state. After doing that you can post a message of thanks. You know it will be appreciated.
