Texas Wildfires: Fire Danger Map, 4/18/11

This is certainly not a pretty picture. As you can see, only a small portion of the state is at low risk. So far, no rain is in the immediate forecast. For more maps and info please go to the blog and the Texas Forest Service. These folks are doing a great job in keeping us informed.

      You’re welcome. Many people are searching for specific information, and I do what I can to help. Remember to keep the firefighters in your thoughts and prayers. Many of them are volunteers working up to 18 hours some days.
