Fire Maps on Wunderground

I used to go to the Wunderground weather maps all the time, but for some reason or other, I forgot about this web site. A reader just sent in some information that you might find helpful in tracking the wildfires though. She pointed out that Wunderground has a link to the right side that you can click on to see active fires. I just did it and saw the flame icon right where a fire is burning, so this site is almost “live.” You’ll probably need to scroll down to find the link for “Fire” on the right-hand side of your screen.

Here’s a link for you: Give it a try and see if you find this map helpful. Thanks to the blog reader for sharing this info with us.
