Earthquakes in Spain: Map of Earthquakes’ Location

The USGS reports that a 5.3 magnitude earthquake rattled the southeast area of Spain about 350 kilometers away from Madrid today at 12:47:26 Eastern Daylight Time. The quake was relatively shallow at less than 1 km deep. The exact location was 37.697 degrees North, 1.556 degrees West. According to a CNN News Report, seven people were killed in the quake, and that there is considerable damage. The 5.3 magnitude quake was preceded by a 4.3 quake at 11:05:12, Eastern Daylight Time.
