Morganza Spillway Opening: Live Streaming Video

I’m posting this with the idea that this live stream will come back up soon. When I checked it at 7:15, it was “Off Air.” Perhaps there isn’t enough daylight just yet? Not sure. The video is courtesy of uStream.tv and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. You may want to check it out periodically. It’s on Weather.com.

I’ll check on it from time to time and update for you. It would be nice if it were working. Update: Noon, and it’s still “off air.” Can’t be a lack of daylight issue. I’ll check around for another site carrying a live video feed. UpdateII: The video seems to be “off air” everywhere, even the Corps of Engineers site. Technical issues probably. I’ll keep checking.

Well, I do think it’s odd that they never bothered to fix whatever is causing the problem. Why set it up in the first place if they’re not going to maintain it?
