Drought Outlook for the U.S.: Map

Here’s a map from NOAA showing the drought outlook for this spring and part of the summer for the United States. Click once on the map to go to the live site. As you can see, Texas is a standout — and not in a good way. It’s ironic that places so close to Texas are dealing with the effects of too much water, and here we are, in a devastating drought. Oh, if they could only pipe some of that water our way.
