Memphis Storms, Live Monitoring

If you want to follow a big, possibly tornado-producing storm live, go to WMC-TV and watch as Dave Brown follows the storm through northern Shelby County and the northern counties in Mississippi. Click on the red Live Video link. It appears there is a funnel cloud, or at least significant rotation, west of Tunica, Mississippi, at the moment.

Just spoke to a friend in southeast Shelby County, and she said the wind was blowing hard; lots of thunder and lightning, but so far, so good. Tornado sirens are blaring. She also said Oprah’s last show was preempted for the weather. Oh, the horror…
