You’ll recall that Chile experienced a major, destructive earthquake last year, and now, In southern Chile, a huge volcanic eruption began Saturday. The people of Chile are probably wondering, “What next?”
Schools as far away as Argentina were closed Monday as ash continued to spew six miles into the sky as the Puyehue-Cordon volcano complex erupted. Approximately 3500 people were evacuated from the area.
