Texas Wildfires: Fire in Tomball Saturday

Once again, thanks to the firefighters, no homes or lives were lost from the fire. With winds gusting up to 30 mph yesterday, it’s miraculous that burning embers didn’t blow hot cinders onto the roofs of homes nearby. It is thought that the fire started when a power line was knocked down by a falling tree.

Let’s all be very careful out there today. It’s still hot, dry, and windy. Do you have a lot of pine needles on your roof? Are your gutters full of dead leaves? You might want to get outside and take a look. They’re saying we might get a little bit of rain this week. Let’s all say a prayer that we do. Happy Father’s Day.
