Texas Wildfires: Late Update 9/9/11

The humidity is still low, and the winds aren’t cooperating. Here’s yet another link with the very latest news this evening: Natural Disasters.

Had a nice note on our mailbox this afternoon. A wife of a firefighter is going to come around and collect clothing and household goods for the fire victims in Magnolia. Good for her! I’m going to go through my closets and see what I can give. As difficult as it may be to believe, (as hot as it was today), the fire victims will be needing jackets and sweaters soon. Give what you can. The Riley Road fire is the one in our area. Just try to imagine losing everything you own. These folks are going to need a lot of help.
