Texas Wildfires: Technical Information

The Incident Information System, (Inciweb), web site has a long list of incident reports for various fires burning around the country. There are some great big fires burning elsewhere, not just here. It appears, however, that they have lumped all the fires in Texas together as we have the dubious distinction of having so many fires burning at once.

For those of you who are interested in the more technical aspects of fighting these fires, and statistics about the fires, here’s the link for you to the Texas Fires 2011 incident report. The numbers are staggering, and I’m afraid they’re only going to grow.

Not a pretty picture…
